KIND MYND
My Approach
I’m Monique, a registered psychologist based in Pascoe Vale, Melbourne. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore what’s going on in your inner world at a pace that feels right for you.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware. They may have done therapy before, read the books, or tried different strategies yet still feel stuck in certain patterns, emotional reactions, or ways of relating to themselves. Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand those patterns with compassion, and begin creating new ways forward.
My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and relational. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and genuinely connected with your therapist. Together we focus on making sense of your experiences while building practical strategies that support your wellbeing.
I am an Accredited EMDR Practitioner and a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician. In my work with eating disorders and body image concerns, I integrate Health at Every Size®, intuitive eating, and body neutrality approaches to support people in developing a more peaceful and trusting relationship with their body.
I work with adults experiencing:
-
Trauma, including childhood trauma, sexual trauma, complex PTSD, and attachment-related difficulties
-
Anxiety and health anxiety
-
OCD
-
Grief and loss
-
Body image concerns, shame, comparison, and control patterns
-
Eating disorders
-
Neurodivergent adults exploring identity, strengths, and ways of navigating a predominantly neurotypical world
Therapy with me is down-to-earth, genuine, and tailored to you. Alongside deeper therapeutic work, there is space for curiosity, honesty, and even humour — because healing happens through real human connection.
Sessions are available in person in Pascoe Vale and via telehealth across Melbourne and Australia.
